Framed Prints
The brand of frame is Nielsen Quadrum FSC Oak.
Quadrum Oak picture frames are solid wood made in Germany using FSC®-certified sources with an Oak veneer. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council.
My artistic preference is to choose a natural oak frame as I feel it compliments my work well.

Glass Materials
The majority of the frame windows are made of edge-ground float glass with a UV filter of approx 45%. For the larger sizes of A1, 60x80cm and 70x100cm a very high quality 3mm clear acrylic is used to prevent any damage during transit. The frames are supplied with an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel. The frame fixings are simple nail hanging as can be seen in the below photograph
A simple, minimalist frame with a precision cut bevel mount to prevent the front of the print from touching the back of the glass – which is a no no from an archival perspective. Bear in mind that the prints are not actually mounted but simply laid into the frames, sandwiched between the acid-free insert behind it and the bevel cut mountboard in front if it protecting it.
