Christmas Delivery – Order Cut Off Times: 12 December 2024
To guarantee a fine art print delivery before Christmas place your orders early before the cut off date for both “print only” and “print framed” orders: 12 December 2024. Orders received after then will still go straight into production and likely still be delivered – but this is not guaranteed.
Framed Prints
The brand of frame that theprintspace offers as part of their dropshipping service for artists is Nielsen Quadrum FSC Oak. For an overview of this frame style offered watch the short video below.
Wood Materials
Quadrum Oak picture frames are solid wood made in Germany usinf FSC®-certified sources with an Oak veneer. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council.
My artistic preference is to choose a natural oak frame as I feel it compliments my work well. I hope you are ok with that choice.
Glass Materials
The majority of the frame windows are made of edge-ground float glass with a UV filter of approx 45%. For the larger sizes of A1, 60x80cm and 70x100cm a very high quality 3mm clear acrylic is used to prevent damage during transit. The frames are also equipped with an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel. The frame fixings are simple nail hanging and can be seen in the below photograph
A simple, minimalist frame with a replaceable back that opens easily. A precision cut bevel mount is included to prevent the print from touching the back of the glass. Bear in mind that the prints are not actually mounted but simply laid in the frames, sandwiched between the mountboard and an acid-free insert.
